The Connected Being is a non-fiction, research-driven exploration of the future, where emergent technologies—artificial intelligence, brain-computer interfaces, genetics, and more—converge and draw ever closer to the human experience. Futurist Jordan Satta delves into how these innovations intersect, reshaping the very essence of what it means to be human. Grounded in current studies, the book extends today’s research into bold, speculative possibilities, brought to life through striking visuals. Humain’s approach blended traditional design with future-native tools, crafting high-fidelity concepts, book cover design, and in-book assets that make these complex ideas accessible to all. To amplify this vision, Humain transformed its concepts into dynamic, generative footage, assembling a soulful visual teaser for the book. Handling voiceover, sound design, foley, and special effects, Humain wove together a creative stack that mirrors the book’s themes—technology and humanity in harmony. This teaser serves as a powerful commentary on how technology is redefining humanity, balancing optimism with the ethical and inclusive challenges that demand progress. The Connected Being invites readers to navigate this unfolding landscape, offering a forward-thinking framework rooted in research and human values.
Challenge
Jordan Satta, founder of Openwell Health, needed a launch for his book The Connected Being to establish his thought leadership as a futurist in healthtech.
Goal
Humain drew on Jordan’s manuscript and vision to research, design a cover, conceptual assets, and a powerful visual teaser to position him as a leading futurist voice.
Result
Pre-launch, the book’s cover, assets, and teaser sparked publisher interest, fueled talks, and, per Humain, boosted Jordan’s brand and investor appeal.
